No resting in the cemetery
You hear it all the time: “No time to relax.” “We’ll rest when we’re dead.”
Meanwhile, there’s a sign at a cemetery: “Attention! Resting on cemetery grounds is strictly prohibited. Fine: 10,000 rubles.”
Best reminder I know. Resting is for the living — later it’s against the rules.
Don’t get tired. When you’re tired you want nothing, and you still have to keep going. Like surfing: you lose speed, lose the moment, and go under whatever you have to do. Instead of riding the wave, you drown in it.
You don’t work music, you play it. It’s not a race to the final note. Same with life: it’s not about reaching retirement faster.
Rest while you’re alive.
