Surrender to the depth
Real power is in letting go
When you try to force the depth — willpower, tension — you burn oxygen and surface early. When you let go, relax, surrender to the depth — it takes you in.
Real power is not in control. It’s in surrender.
I broke through the layer of fear that surrounded me: whatever happens, happens — not resisting the water, not resisting anything. It all clicked in that moment: 41.5 meters came easy. No panic signals — I’m just flying down.
The body isn’t convinced by arguments. It needs a lived moment: I faced it, and nothing happened. You can’t understand it. You can only do it. Trust.
Panic comes — don’t fight it. Let it pass. And it passes. And you stay calm.
Calm isn’t the absence of emotion, like the cartoon monks. It’s the state you can act precisely from.
Emotions are waves. They want to move through you. We build them into a prison when we cling or run.
